As reliable as the tiller in your hand, everything you love about globalmarinenet.com is now available at www.pivotel.com

If you originally found us at Global Marine Networks, I want to take a moment today to personally thank you for your patronage of GMN over the years and invite you on our current voyage. GMN has been a Pivotel company since 2017. Today, we are turning down our globalmarinenet.com web site, and inviting you to visit (and bookmark) pivotel.com - our dedicated home on the web for satellite phones and services, including our Satellite Phone Learning Center.

At the new pivotel.com, you'll find all of the things you trusted GMN for:
Now, at Pivotel, you'll also find so much more:

Best of all, you'll find satellite airtime plans for Iridium and Inmarsat that include free satellite phones, and most other plans include the Pivotel Advantage

  • Free local phone number, just like your cell phone
  • Monthly options with the ability to keep your number while inactive
  • Free incoming calls on most plans

I've rarely signed off posts to you with my rather unusual last name, so you might not recognize it, but let me mention why I'm personally excited about this change: I started with this team as employee number four at GMN, handling sales for our then-new RedPort range of satellite routers. I made the introduction that lead Pivotel to buy GMN in 2017, and helped run both the GMN and Pivotel web sites for the last four years. I love talking with customers about your adventures and experiences.

Now it's time to say "fair winds" to the old site as web standards have pushed forward and we can deliver a much better experience and better content on pivotel.com, We've worked hard to give you the best.

So whether you've been with us since the beginning, or only found GMN recently, I say, "welcome aboard!"

Warm regards,

John Dark
